Welcome to Cotech Industries (Pty) Ltd (“Cotech”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website https://cotechsa.co.za and all purchases made through our online shop. By accessing or using our site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. General Use of Website

The content on this website is provided for general information and purchasing purposes only.
We reserve the right to update, change, or remove content at any time without notice.
Use of this website is subject to South African law.

2. Products & Availability

All products are subject to stock availability.
We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, images, and specifications are accurate, but variations may occur due to supplier updates or manufacturing tolerances.
Prices displayed on the site are inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.

3. Orders & Payment

Orders are only confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.
We accept payment via PayFast and PayFlex, which provide secure online payment processing.
In cases of suspected fraud, incorrect pricing, or stock unavailability, we reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order and issue a refund.

4. Delivery & Collection

Deliveries are handled through Bob-Go courier partners or via our local store delivery service (Polokwane and surrounds).
Delivery fees are calculated at checkout. Delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on courier schedules, stock, and location.
Same-day delivery is not available.
Alternatively, customers may collect orders from our Ladine or Magna Via branches once notified that the order is ready.

5. Risk & Ownership

Ownership of goods passes to the customer once payment is received in full.
Risk passes to the customer upon delivery or collection.
We are not liable for damage to goods resulting from improper storage, exposure to weather, or mishandling after delivery.

6. Returns & Refunds

Returns are subject to our Return & Refund Policy published on this website.
Custom-made goods are non-refundable unless defective.
No returns or refunds will be accepted after 30 days from delivery.
Refunds are processed to the original payment method and may take up to 14 business days.

7. Warranties & Defects

Products are supplied with the standard manufacturer’s warranty (where applicable).
Defective goods must be reported within 7 days of receipt, with photographic proof.
In line with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), we may choose to repair, replace, or refund defective goods within 6 months of purchase.

8. Limitation of Liability

Cotech Industries is not liable for:
- Delays in courier or delivery services.
- Indirect or consequential losses (e.g., project delays, contractor penalties).
- Damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, poor storage, or negligence.
Liability is limited to the value of the goods purchased.

9. Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, logos, graphics, and product images, is the property of Cotech Industries and may not be copied or reproduced without prior written consent.

10. Privacy & Data Protection

We respect your privacy. Personal information collected during checkout is used solely for order processing, delivery, and customer communication.
Payments are processed through PayFast and PayFlex using secure, encrypted platforms. We do not store your payment card details.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Any disputes will be resolved in terms of the Consumer Protection Act and other applicable laws.
If disputes cannot be settled amicably, they shall be referred to the courts of South Africa.

12. Amendments

Cotech Industries reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.
